ENTERING.

The Event Photography Awards are an annual not-for-profit competition open to both professional and amateur photographers over 18 years old.

Photographs entered into the 2024 competition must have been taken during the calendar year of 2023.

Entered images must be uploaded in high-resolution format and should be JPEG, PNG or TIFF files no smaller than 800KB, but no larger than 5MB.

A fee of £20 is charged to enter up to 5 photos. A further £20 is charged for each additional set of up to 5 photos. Entrants can submit as many photos as they like into as many categories as they like.

Please carefully consider the category into which each photo is entered. However, photos may be entered into more than one category and will be judged accordingly.

There are sixteen categories to enter, including two for Music Events, which have been newly defined as ‘Concerts’ for long shots of crowds and stages, and ‘Performers’ for closer shots of musicians in action. Furthermore, last year’s new ‘A-Lister’ award has been added to the roster of core categories for shots of celebrities at events.

Entries will close at midnight on Saturday 30
th March 2024.

Judging will take place during April and short-listed photographers will be informed of their success by early May and invited to the Awards Night at 66 Portland Place, the home of RIBA, on Wednesday 6th June 2024, where all the winners, runners-up and highly-commended awards will be announced.
